What this website processes
The current HypeTheType interface does not set tracking cookies, does not use analytics, and does not send typography settings to an application backend. Inputs are processed in the browser to generate previews and exports.
The hosting provider may process technical access data such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, user agent, referrer, and transfer status to deliver the website, maintain security, and diagnose errors.
Google Fonts catalog and previews
The font catalog is stored inside HypeTheType. When a Google Font is selected, the browser requests its stylesheet and font files only from this website. HypeTheType's server may retrieve the selected public font resources from Google and cache them, but the visitor's browser does not connect to Google Fonts domains.
Legal basis
Technical delivery and security logs are processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. If optional contact forms, accounts, analytics, newsletters, or payments are added later, this privacy page must be updated before those features go live.
Retention
Browser-only typography settings are not stored by this application. Server log retention depends on the production host and must be documented here once the hosting provider is selected.
